Principles of sustainable development includes an imperative to using alternative energy resources, modern construction and energy striving for self-isolation and self-sustaining architecture. The natural eco-systems have the authority from which we learn how to live and built, taking into account the principles of sustainable development. In accordance with the possibilities of the environment in which we live, we create our works.
Arhitekti Ratkajec d.o.o. was founded on the basis of long-past experience of professional team of people, in different forms which are continually engaged in architecture, urban planning and construction since 1990.
The base of the team consists of architects Dubravko Ratkajec, and Ivana Ratkajec Deák in cooperation with many professionals, students, people with new ideas and visions. The result is a quality product at a high technical and artistic level.
The office is an interdisciplinary architectural firm, which in addition to designing deals urban development projects, detailed plans, interior design, designing boats, furniture, environmental and children’s playgrounds and creating programs for health care and hotel resorts for seniors, sports – recreational areas,tourist areas and hotels, campsites.
Outcomes of all necessary design documentation, keep track of investors from the first sketches, through supervision of construction and occupancy permits.
We offer project management services and consulting.
We pay great attention to continuous professional development and monitoring of modern developments, materials, technologies and trends in architecture.
We are fluent in English and German.
The reputation of the company witnessed a number of successfully realized projects of private and public investors for buildings and spaces for different purposes.
We operate from our two studios in Croatia, one in Vrbovec, Zagreb County, and one in Tribunj, Šibenik-Knin County, on the Dalmatian coast. From these two key locations we can easily cover all of the country.
